Ompora to get IT park

JAMMU, MAR 26: With a view to address the un-employment problem, Minister for Information and Technology, Aga Syed Ruhula today convened a meeting of officers of Information and Technology Department, Industries and Commerce and Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and discussed threadbare various issues related to establishment of Information Technology Parks in the State, which have the potential of generating employment.
 It was informed that 200 kanals of land are available at Ompora Budgam for the purpose.
 The Minister asked the STPI to survey the area and submit concrete Detailed Project Report (DPR).  He also directed the officers of Industries & Commerce to identify more 200 kanals of land at Ompora, Budgam, for the purpose. Among others, Commissioner Secretary, Information Technology,   Attul Dullu, Director Industries and Commerce, Jammu, Managing Director, SIDCO, representative of STPI and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
