Bazaz stresses resumption of Indo-Pak talks

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, Mar 28: Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum chief, Pandit Bhushan Bazaz Sunday said India should resume dialogue with Pakistan as war was not an option given that both nations were nuclear powers.
Talking to a Kashmiri Pandit delegation in New Delhi, he said there was a debate going on whether to resume dialogue with Pakistan or not. “The only way to move forward is to accept the universally accepted practice of dialogue at the official level and then at the political level.”
He said trade and commerce, cultural exchange and people to people contacts could go a long way in reducing the tensions and pave way for progress.
