Khanqah-e-Sokhta fears electric short-circuit

Srinagar, Mar 27: The residents of Khanqah-e-Sokhta, Nawa Kadal in Shahr-e-Khaas said the electric poles in the area were old and decayed due to which they may collapse anytime.
The residents feared that it could lead to mishap in the form of short-circuit.
“We many times apprized the concerned authorities about the issue but nobody paid any heed to our problem,” said a delegation of the residents.
The locals appealed the Chief Engineer, Power Development Department to look into the matter.
