Give tourist hub a emergency hospital
We the Srinagarites
We the people of Dalgate, Buchwara, Maltang, Konakhan, Gagribal and other adjoining localities are demanding a 24-hour emergency hospital in the area as the people there suffer a lot due to non-availability of this basic medical facility.
Just last month, a tragic road accident occurred at Boulevard in which a woman died while her daughter got critically injured. If there was any emergency hospital in the vicinity may be they would get the first aid in-time and precious human life could have been saved.
In summers, many tourists visited the area on the Dal lake banks and it becomes more prone to mishaps. So we need a emergency hospital there for more than one reasons.
At Chest Disease Hospital, Dalgate, a newly constructed building is almost ready for use. So we the people of the area appeal to government especially Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah and Minister for Medical Education Shyam Lal Sharma to equip the site with at least ten to twenty beds of 24-hour emergency medical and surgical wards.
