Poultry sale centre setup at Hariparbat

Srinagar, Mar 2: The poultry marketing division of Animal Husbandry department has been providing rich animal protein in the form of poultry meat and eggs to the general public on cheaper prices through its sale centres in the valley. Besides, it has been conducting mobile sales on various festivals. The division has also met the demands of remote areas like Leh and Kargil by sending huge consignments of eggs to these areas. In its continuing endeavour to serve more and more people, the poultry marketing division has recently opened a new full-fledged sales outlet at poultry nutrition complex, Hariparbat. The sale outlet was inaugurated by Moulvi Ghulam Nabi Koul, Poultry Geneticist, the other day.
