Traffic Mess Everywhere!
This refers to the daily mess of traffic on the Srinagar roads. Every now and then there are traffic jams in almost every part of the City. The traffic police department has failed to make things work in the favour of people. There is a “traffic terror” on the roads and most of the time a journey of few ends up in a journey of hours especially at places like Ram Bagh, Jehangir Chowk, Karan Nagar, Soura and the main bussiness hub Lal Chowk.
It adds to the miseries of all the people in general and students in particular. Neither the Ministers nor other VIPs from the government are taking any action against this because whenever they have to travel the entire traffic is put to halt until they leave and again the common man suffers.
The government of Jammu and Kashmir especially the Traffic Department is in a deep slumber and needs to wake up. It must take a serious note of traffic system of the state and come up with some solid and better plans to reduce the traffic mess. The present is a time of fast life and please we don’t want to lag behind.
