‘Kashmiri to be introduced in class 9, 10’

Jammu, Mar 3: Education minister Peerzada Muhammad Syed today informed the assembly that ‘Kashmiri’ language will be introduced as one of the subjects in class 9th and 10th in the valley from this year onwards.
He was replying to calling attention moved by CPI(M) leader M Y Tarigami during zero hour.
“The language is already being taught in class 11 and 12th.
It will be introduced in class 9 and 10 also from this year onwards,” Syed said.
