DGP reviews security, gives 56 appointment letters

Jammu, Mar 3: The Director General of Police, Kuldeep Khoda today reviewed the security in Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban.
 Khoda asked the officers to work with courage and provide better policing to the people of J&K.
 Addressing police durbars, he said the police had played a commendable role in normalizing the situation. “The department will encourage those officers and policemen who prefer professional duties on their personal comforts and ensure that no collateral damage takes place,” he added.
 Khoda handed over appointment letters to 56 Special Police Officers, who have been appointed as Constables in recognition of their bravery. He also honoured the personnel with cash rewards.
