Karfalli Mohalla appeals CAPD

Srinagar, Mar 4: The residents of Karfalli Mohalla in Shahr-e-Khaas have appealed the Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution department to increase what they said the quota of sugar being provided to the BPL ration card holders of the area.
 A delegation from the area said many BPL card holders live there but get meagre sugar quota.
 “Just yesterday mere 2 KG sugar was given to one BPL ration card holder wearing rags. The old man has support a family of 10. How is it possible for him to meet the requirements with so little of sugar,” said Ehsan Wani, a local.
 The locals appealed the CAPD authorities to look into the matter.
