LeT denies involvement in Kabul attack

Srinagar, Mar 4: The Lashkar-e-Toiba on Thursday refuted claims by Afghanistan government that it was involved in the attack on Indians in Kabul.
In a tele-statement, a caller identifying himself as a LeT spokesman, Dr Abdullah Gaznavi, said: “The allegations levelled against us by Afghan government are baseless and false. It is a conspiracy against us.”
He said the outfit has no network in Afghanistan. “Our outfit is aimed at fighting the occupational forces in Kashmir. India is running a negative propaganda against all militant outfits active in Kashmir to hide its anti-Pakistan activities going on in Afghanistan,” he said and denied LeT’s involvement in any attack on Indian soil.
