Prof Punjabi serves Hazratbal devotees

Srinagar, Mar 5: On the Friday following Eid-e-Milad (SAW), the Kashmir University, Vice-Chancellor, Prof Reyaz Punjabi personally served the devotees near the Hazratbal shrine.
 The KU PRO said: “The Vice-Chancellor Prof Riyaz Punjabi personally monitored the arrangements and spent good time with various groups of devotees at the Sir Syed Gate(KU) and the Moulani Rumi gate.”
 “Department of Student’s Welfare, National Service Scheme KU Unit, Proctorial Wing , Kashmir University Police, Public Relations Centre, Watch and Ward Unit , and KU Health and Hygiene Directorate, coordinated in an effective way to provide various facilities like free parking , first aid and providing various refreshments besides monitoring one way traffic from within the KU campus.”
 Department of Students Welfare and National Service Scheme Wing of the KU provided water and Kashmiri tea to the devotees at the stalls erected by the volunteers at the two main KU gates, the PRO added.
