Congress rally in Shopian after agitation

Srinagar, May 9: The Congress party on Sunday organised a rally which it claimed was the first public rally in the town after the agitation over killings of Neelofar and Aasiya.
 A statement said that the state president Congress Committee Prof Saifuddin Soz while addressing the gathering said his party was committed to strengthen the coalition.
 Soz said that he would make government of India include Rambiyara and Vishu Nallh in flood management scheme so that more than 30,000 kanals of land was available for cultivation.
 He also assured the people that district hospital Shopian would be upgraded and decision regarding mini secretariat would be taken soon.
