Govt to introduce Kashmiri in Class 11, 12

Islamabad, May 9: The government is contemplating to introduce Kashmiri in Class 11 and 12 and a Committee has been framed to look for modalities and put forth suggestions in this regard.
This was revealed by the Education Minister, Peerzada Muhammad Syed adding to promote Kashmiri, the language had been introduced up to class 9. Addressing poets, writers and intellectuals here in connection with book release ceremony of Sona-Ullah Mir, Peerzada said verses in the book were humorous. Referring to promotion of Kashmiri, “It is not government only which has to act, but people have to put in efforts to promote and protect the language, literature and culture.”
