‘EU team to visit Kashmir in June’

Islamabad, May 11: The Executive Director of the International Council for Human Rights (ICHR) and Kashmir Centre Brussels Barrister Majid Tramboo on Tuesday said that the Steering Committee of European Parliament on Kashmir is likely to visit India, Pakistan and Jammu and Kashmir in June this year to find out durable solution of the Kashmir dispute.
“Kashmiris in the European Parliament have been highlighting the Kashmir issue at international level besides seeking solution of the dispute in line with the United Nations Security Council resolutions on Kashmir,” Barrister Tramboo said during his lecture at Women’s Institute of Science and Humanities here.
He said that European countries recognize the Kashmiri peoples’ right to self determination.
