Govt officials clash in Jammu
ACR, DLM JDA Injured

Jammu, May 12: The Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) and the Director Land Management of Jammu Development Authority (JDA) were injured and their vehicles damaged when they were attacked allegedly by the officials of the Forest Department at a timber depot here on Wednesday.
Sources told Greater Kashmir that the Revenue and JDA officials were attacked when they tried to demarcate a piece of land at Bachan depot that has recently been transferred from the Forest Department to JDA.
The Director Land Management JDA Babu Ram and ACR Inderjeet Bhagat received minor injuries in the alleged assault, sources added.
When contacted the Director Land Management JDA, said, “We have registered a complaint in this regard at Trikuta Nagar police station.”
The Station House Officer Trikuta Nagar confirmed that the case had been registered.
