3 killed, 8 hurt in mishaps

Jammu: Three persons were killed and eight others injured in mishaps across Jammu.
A trooper was killed and four others were critically injured when a vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a gorge at Drunthal Udhampur on Thursday, police said.
They said Kunti Devi, wife of Krishan Lal of Bari Brahman, who was hit and critically injured by an unidentified bus at Bari Brahmana on May 8 succumbed GMC hospital today.
Amarnath son of Nathu Ram of Akhnoor, who was hit by a Tractor on May 5 also succumbed.
Meanwhile, four persons, including two brothers sustained injuries in accidents.
