Trumboo calls on Qureshi
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar: The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (R) chief patron and executive director, Kashmir Centre, Brussels, Barrister Abdul Majid Trumboo today met the Pakistan foreign minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, apprising him about prevailing situation in Jammu Kashmir.
Trumboo thanked Pakistan for its moral, political and diplomatic support to Kashmiris in their freedom struggle.
In a statement, Trumboo said talks between India and Pakistan should be Kashmir centric. He said there would not be improvement in Indo-Pak relations until Kashmir issue was resolved adding the present Pak dispensation was keen in resolving Kashmir.
Trumboo said the role of Pakistan Administered Kashmir government towards freedom movement was disappointing. “Instead of playing the role of base camp, these people are entangled in their own issues,” he said.
Meanwhile, the party chairman, Farooq Ahmad Dar and the senior vice-chairman, Javid Ahmad Mir have welcomed Qureshi’s statement that the international community was now serious about Kashmir resolution through trilateral talks.
