‘Waywardness, begging on rise in Valley’

Bandipora, May 16: The participants at Sultan-ul-Arifeen Conference has expressed concern over the growing waywardness in society and increasing numbers of beggars in the valley.
“Social evils and professional beggary is rampant” the participants said during the concluding day of the two-day event held at Wular Valley College of Education here.
“Young girls are indulging in begging,” they said.
Prof Hameed Naseem Rafiabadi and Nasir Mirza of Kashmir University also spoke on the occasion.
