Hamdania Colony demands bund construction

Srinagar, May 17: The residents of Hamdamia Colony Sector 12 Bemina have appealed the Minister for Irrigation and Flood Control, Taj Mohi UD Din to get a bund constructed alongside the canal flowing nearby.
 A delegation of the locals said the absence of the bund had been a reason of frequent floods in the area when the canal spills over.
 They appealed the Minister to take up the matter on priority basis keeping in view frequent rains.
