Interaction session on career planning at KU held

Srinagar, 17 May: The Department of Business and Financial Studies (DBFS), Kashmir University today held an interactive session on “Career Building” in the conference hall of Gandhi Bhawan in the varsity today.
Students of MFC and M.Com participated in the session. Vice President, HR Multiple Commodity Exchange (Mumbai), Rajesh Bhagwe answered to students’ queries and explained issues challenges relating to career building.
“It is important to remain confident and calm while answering,” he told the students. Speaking at the session, Head DBFS, Prof. Nazir A Nazir said the department was committed to giving best exposure to students.
“We hope to bring more and more professionals from the industry to give the students firsthand experience of what they should expect in the real market world”.
Prof. Nazir hailed efforts of the guest in placements of the students in his prestigious organization.
Expert at the session discussed the trends being followed by MNCs in the recruitment process.
During the interaction, faculty members from the department also talked about their experiences to add on to the session.
The session was concluded at a mock interview drill of few students of the department to prepare them to face real interviews.
