Jama’at organizes function

Srinagar: Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir organized a function at Masjid Al-Huda, Baranpather, Batamaloo, here after Friday prayers to pay tributes to the services of noted Islamic scholar and thinker late Dr Israr Ahmad.
The function was presided over by the Amir Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir Sheikh Muhammad Hassan.
Prominent Ulema including president Jamiat-e-Ahlihadees, Moulana Showkat Ahmad Shah, spoke on the occasion, paying glowing to tributes to late Dr Israr Ahmad’s services to Islam.
