Admn Reshuffle On Cards

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, May 23: The state cabinet would meet here on Monday evening, with the administrative reshuffle and the employees’ demands topping the agenda, sources said.
“The cabinet may order some reshuffle in the administration. Also the decisions taken by cabinet sub-committee regarding the demands of the employees including increase in HRA and realization of DA are likely to be approved by it,” they said.
Pertinently,  the cabinet sub-committee had on May 15, after a marathon meeting with government employees, decided to release 8 percent
Dearness Allowance and five per cent House Rent Allowance besides conversion of COLA into DA. The sub-committee had also announced the release of salaries of the employees for the strike period.
Meanwhile, a local news agency KNS reported that the transfer of deputy commissioners of several districts figure in cabinet’s agenda.
“The Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, is not happy with the performance of many DCs and their transfer is inevitable,” the news agency said, adding, “A list of officials to be transferred and their fresh posting has already been prepared.”
