Dal conservation
I congratulate GK team for focusing on the problems facing Dal and bringing us the updates about its preservation. The steps taken by the LAWDA must be appreciated. Now there is a ray of hope that the lost glory of Dal will be restored. As said by the deputy CM, in his interview with your correspondent, that the people's participation will help a great deal. I suggest GK to form an NGO whose members and activists will be the educated people of our society. Intellectuals, lawyers, doctors, engineers and most importantly students, who are more enthusiastic about doing something for their society, should be a part of it. We can participate in social issues like Dal conservation, afforestation and many other issues. It will provide a platform for those people who really want to do something. It will also help us in interacting with each other and discuss the issues relating to our society. It is time to act now. We have held so many seminars, debates and discussions. Now let us practically do something.
