AS Reds, RCC Reds win

Srinagar, May 25: In the ongoing JKPL T20 championship, Amar Singh Reds and RCC Reds won their respective matches played at Sher-i-Kashmir stadium on Tuesday.
In the first match, Amar Singh Reds was up against Amar Singh Blues. AS Blues won the toss and piled up 116 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Amar Singh Reds achieved the target with two overs to spare for the loss of five wickets. Asif Rasool of the wining team was adjudged as man of the match for his all round performance. He scored 75 runs and took two wickets,
In the second match of the day, RCC Reds defeated Shams-ul- Haq Club Bijbehara. Batting first Shams-ul-Haq scored 131 runs in the allotted over. However, a brilliant knock of 67 by Saim enabled RCC Reds to record a win by four wickets with an over and a half to spare.
Saim was declared joint man of the match with Ashraf who notched up four wickets. The tournament is being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association.
