Dilapidated roads irk Sakidafar

Srinagar, May 26: The residents of Eidgah, Sakidafar and adjacent areas have appealed the concerned MLA and other authorities to get the area lanes repaired and Main Park at Eidgah levelled at the earliest.
 The residents said the dilapidated road conditions lead to waterlogging.
 “During rains, water accumulates in the potholes and makes the movement immensely inconvenient, especially for schoolchildren, women and aged who often slip on the uneven lanes,” they said.
 “Moreover, the Eidgah Park is of significant importance in our locality as people go there for morning walk. But the park is in dilapidated condition and uneven path due to which we face inconvenience,” the locals said.
 “The residents will be obliged especially morning walkers if the park is levelled,” the locals said.
The residents appealed the local MLA to grant some money out of his constituency development fund for the upgradation of the lanes and the Eidgah Park.
