Srinagar: The associate professor and head Clinical Veterinary medicines SKUAST-K, Dr Muzaffar Shaheen has been honoured with “Bharat Jyoti” award.
 Muzaffar received the award from ex-governor of Assam and Tamil Nadu, Dr Bhishma Narain Singh in New Delhi on May 24.
 He was awarded certificate of excellence in recognition to his 20-years of service and contribution to animal health, teaching and research. Dr. M Shaheen had also bagged “Visionary Veterinarian” title from Natural Remedy, Bangalore in 2008.
