Rematullah cautions Muslims
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar: The Nazim Darul Uloom Rahimia, Bandipora, Muhammad Rehmatullah Mir Qasmi, has cautioned the Muslim Ummah about the objectionable interpretation in Irfan-e-Qur’an---a commentary on the holy Qur’an, published again by a local publisher.
“People were some year ago cautioned that there were some objectionable details given in the Irfan-e-Qur’an. Now it has again been reprinted by the publishing house with the same distortions like the so-called “crucification of Jesus Christ (AS)” which is a clear distortion of Qur’anic version and is the belief of Mirzais and Christians, Qasmi said in a statement today.
He said the firm faith of Muslims is that the holy Prophet Christ (AS) was never crucified. “The crucification of Christ (AS) has been attributed to ‘some interpreters,’ even as no Muslim interpreter has subscribed to the view,” he said, adding that the distortion has been incorporated again in spite of earlier clarifications. “We express our profound shock at it and advise the Muslims to beware of the sinister conspiracy behind it,” Qasmi said.
