PFL for probe into detainee’s death

Srinagar: Peoples’ Freedom League has expressed concern over the ‘mysterious’ death of a detainee in Kot Bhilwal Jail, Jammu, terming it a ‘custodial murder’ and urging the rights organizations to probe it. 
 Its spokesman said, “The jails here are worse than infamous Abu Gharib and Guantanamo bay where detainees are denied medical aid.”
 He hailed Canada for denying visa to some army officers for their alleged involvement in rights abuses in Kashmir. He also condemned the ‘killing of three civilians in fake encounter in Michal’.
