SMS sensation

This refers to Punchline by ZGM (GK 24th May 2010). The SMS sent about the speech of Geelani Saab at Patan was a “simple thought from a simple heart” of a common Muslim. The author has made a sensation out of it. An impression is given that it was the result of the bias generated after publication of the Shariati’s book. Believe me this thought was quite my own developed spontaneously soon after reading the speech of Geelani Saab delivered at Patan from Kashmir Uzma.
It was not a result of a bias or hatred. I respect Geelani Saab from the core of my heart and accept the fact that he is a true and unflinching leader of Kashmiri Muslims so far as the Freedom Movement is concerned. In this matter no one can question his credibility. The SMS was floated just to get the things rectified and get  a clarification from the concerned quarters regarding the speech. A Muslim has no ultimate goal but the establishment of Deen-e-Islam, as it was established by last Messenger of Allah Prophet Muhammad (SAW) the goal of freedom is included in this ultimate goal i.e. freedom is part and parcel of Islam. Islam has given freedom to a human being or a nation  in all respects of life, political, religious, social, both individual and collective. Islam isn’t separable from politics or any other aspect of life. So we can’t ignore Islam at any time.
