Shun differences: UJC to separatists

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, May 29: The United Jihad Council Saturday urged the Hurriyat Conference and other pro-freedom leaders to forget their mutual differences and lead the people in right direction “to achieve the cherished objective of freedom.”
“Jihadi leadership wants to see the Hurriyat Conference and other pro-resistance leaders move forward together with one and the same stand, and demands. They should shun their mutual difference of secondary nature in the larger interest of ongoing freedom struggle and lead the nation in right direction,” said the UJC spokesman Syed Sadaqat Hussain, in a faxed statement.
He strongly condemned the killing of three innocent civilians of Nadihal, Rafiaabad, in the border area of Michal sector by Army. “This heart rending incident indicates the level of extent the armed forces in Jammu Kashmir can go for their promotions and awards. To get rid of such incidents, we need to raise our voice in an organized way for demilitarization and watch keenly the movement of renegades and bring them to justice. Their parents and relatives should also exert pressure on them to desist from doing inhuman acts. These renegades are cause of shame and torment for the people,” the spokesman said.
He said the UJC was grieved at the Machil killings.
