Trooper injured in IED blast

Jammu, May 3: An army trooper was injured in an IED blast triggered by suspected militants near the Line of Control in Poonch district Monday.
Police said militants had planted two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) near a forward defence location in Kanga Nallah area. Though no one was injured in the first blast at 9:30 am, the explosion at 11 am left trooper Daleep Kumar injured. He was hospitalised.
The IEDs were triggered through remote control, police said.
