Bashir Arif to head RK

New Delhi, May 5: Bashir Arif will be the new Director of Radio Kashmir. Currently serving as Director Commercial Broadcasting Service, Arif will replace Rafiq Raaz who retired recently.
 The Director General of All India Radio (AIR) has cleared his name for the post and the file has been sent for final approval to the Member (Personnel) Prasar Bharti for approval. As there is no other name in the panel, it appears certain that he will take the charge soon.
 The sources said that his appointment order will be issued in next few days.
