Banning channels

This refers to the ban on some satellite TV channels in Jammu which evoked serious criticism amongst the Muslims of the region. I think it is an unwise decision and is an indication of frustration of those who banned the channels. To call them Pakistani-based channels is a misconception because among the eleven banned channels only a few are based in Pakistan. At least the religious channels like Peace TV should not have been taken off the air as it has nothing to do with politics and other controversial issues. It only spreads the message of religious tolerance. Above all government cannot dictate people what to watch and what not to.
