Implement ban on coaching by govt teachers: HC
GK NEWS NETWORK
Jammu, May 7: The J&K High Court has asked the government to implement the order banning government teachers to engage in private coaching, without permission.
Hearing a writ petition, Justice Hakim Imtiyaz Hussain directed the State to strictly implement the order passed by the government on August 11, 2005 that no teacher in schools and colleges shall undertake any coaching assignment including teaching in the private institutions or coaching centers without permission of the authorities.
After hearing the counsel for the petitioner, Advocate SC Subash, and going through the rules of J&K Government Employee (Conduct) Rule 1971, the court asked the respondents to strictly enforce the directions.
