JU students demand separate region for Chenab valley
Jammu, Oct 31: The students of Jammu University belonging to Chenab valley have demanded separate province for their region.
In a statement, the students said that they constituted a body, CVSF, headed by Syed Azhar Jawad Hashmi, which would start a movement from November 15 in this regard.
“The CVSF will fight for the cause of the people of Chenab Valley who have been discriminated for long,” the statement said. The body alleged that the Jammu University was granting two percent reservation in RBA category. “The quota should be enhanced,” the statement said.
