Jurist artist’s painting exhibition ends

Jammu, Oct 31: The painting exhibition by jurist MA Al Nasir who choose his mother to inaugurate the event, concluded here on Sunday.
 At a time when the people mostly choose celebrities like film stars, politicians or bureaucrats for inaugurating the events, Nasir requested his mother to do the honours at Kala Kendra here Tuesday last week.
 Journey and Beyond, the painting exhibition was the first solo exhibition the artist who believes that whatever he has achieved in his life was due to the blessings of his mother.
 The exhibition comprising 18 paintings in different media ranging from water colors, acrylic and oil colors, is the first solo exhibition by Al Nasir who is a self artist and developed it as hobby during his student years.
 A law graduate from University of Jammu, Al Nasir has participated in 5 North Zone inter-university festivals and 5 National Youth Festivals and always bagged a Gold medal.
 Al Nasir who is a Judicial Officer in the J&K State Judiciary likes painting, photography and trekking in leisure.
