Breakthrough must

Kashmir needs a breakthrough and solutions must come fast. The Kashmir issue is lingering for the past many years now. It needs sincere efforts by both Pakistan and India to resolve it, once and for all. Both the countries should come forward as good neighbours and seriously put an end to the bloodshed in Kashmir. Kashmiris want to live peacefully. The dispute of Jammu and Kashmir has been identified as one of the most dangerous issues which could lead to a war. The question is why the international community, UNO, are watching the worsening situation as mute spectators? For how long Kashmiris have to remain in agony? Kashmir is closely tied up with the nuclear proliferation in South Asia which is being realized at the global level. One should not forget the countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, Ireland, East Timor and Bosnia. Both the neighbors should live as good neighbours. Both the countries should work collectively for the peaceful settlement of Kashmir issue.
