Major concern
This refers to the article titled “The Valley of birds” by Prof. BL Koul. It was well written and inspiring. I agree with Prof Koul when he calls for addressing the causes of decline in bird population decline in Kashmir. Modernization, climate change, population explosion, urbanization, deforestation are the major issues responsible for the problem. It is high time for everyone to come forward and help formulate sustainable conservation measures for wetlands in Kashmir.
