PDD failure

 This refers to the news “Power situation worsens.” There is no problem if the Power Development Department sticks to the scheduled curtailment programme. But what is happening on ground is that frequent power cuts take place. The power cuts have badly affected the students who are appearing in Board and University examinations this time. PDD seems to be biased in its functioning. There are so many purple patches in the city which receive 24-hr power supply. PDD must be held accountable for this disparity? The Jammu and Kashmir government must probe the matter as to why some areas are getting round the clock power supply while others are made to suffer in darkness.
