Shahr-e-Khaas traders felicitate Mirwaiz Dr Umar

Srinagar, Nov 14: The All Kashmir Traders Federation Shar-e- Khaas has felicitated the Chairman of Hurriyat Conference (M) Mirwaiz Dr Umar Farooq on being awarded the doctorate for his thesis on Amir-e-Kabir.
In a statement the Federation said Mirwaiz should serve as a role model for Kashmiris particularly the students. “Despite facing all odds, Mirwaiz achieved the feat and made Kashmiris feel proud,” the members said in a meeting which was attended by the Federation’s president Nazir Shah, general secretary, Omar Gani and members including Nisar Zargar and Bahu-din Zargar.
Meanwhile, the Federation has expressed sympathies with its president Nazir Ahmad Shah over the demise of his aunt who is wife of Muhammad Muzaffar Bhat of Nunar Ganderbal.
