3 killed, 11 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, Nov 1: Three persons were killed and 11 others inured in road accidents in the valley.
 Three persons were killed when a truck (JK02U-3725) allegedly driven by Rakhi Kumar son of Kewal Krishan of Talab Tillo Jammu hit a load carrier (JK02A-8024) at Umar Abad Parimpora.
 According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Bashir Ahmad Khan son of Abdul Aziz, Nisar Ahmad Mir son of Muhammad Akbar Mir of Indergam Pattan and Ali Muhammad Hurra son of Abdul Jabbar of Goshibugh Pattan. The driver of the vehicle was arrested and vehicle seized, police said adding a case had been registered.
 A Sumo (JK05A-4347) allegedly driven by Tariq Ahmad Mir son of Zamanullah Mir of Baramulla collided with a tanker (JK02S-7688) at Palpora Mirbazar injuring the vehicle driver and six passengers of 3rd Bn BSF, police said adding the wounded have been hospitalized.
 A vehicle (JK04A-9145) hit a motorcycle (UP20P-5713) at Nambalhar Budgam injuring the rider Muhammad Mustaqeen son of Abdul Sakoor of Mijnoor at present residing at Qamarwari, Srinagar.
 A JCB (hydraulic crane) went out of control of the driver, Ali Muhammad Mir son of Qasim Mir of Kalipora Budgam and barged inside the Police Station Budgam. The main gate of the police station was damaged in the incident while as the driver was also wounded, police said.
 A tipper (JK13A-7911) allegedly driven by Muhammad Akbar of Naman Pulwama hit and injured a motorcyclist, Adil Ali Lone son of Manzoor Ahmad of Pahnoo Shopian at Kakapora Pulwama. The injured has been hospitalized, police said.
 Another tipper (JK04-4111) hit a two wheeler (JK04B-2096) at Bongund Kunzer injuring the rider Irshad Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Ahmad Bhat of Burmada Kunzer.
