TASK opposes lease out proposal of Centaur Hotel
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Nov 20: The Travel Agents’ Society of Kashmir (TASK) today vowed to oppose tooth and nail any lease out plan of the Centaur Hotel on the banks of world famous Dal lake here, to any outside private enterprise. In a statement here today the TASK appealed to the state government to defeat any such plan by the Air India, which is managing the prestigious hotel in the Valley. However, the TASK said the government should lease out this property to Valley-based entrepreneurs/hoteliers who, according to it, have enough talent and capacity to run this hotel. “The state government should invite local professionals to invest in such a good property,” it said.
