Police-public meets held at Khrew, Matrigam
Srinagar, Nov 21: A police-public meet was held at Khrew Awantipora in which Superintendent of Police, Deputy Superintendent of Police and SHO Pampore participated.
According to a police communiqué, people from Shershali Khrew, Wahab Sahib, Wuyan, Ladhoo, Batina, Nagandar and Indrus attended the meeting and raised different issues and their problems. The police officers assured the visitors that their problems would be taken up with the concerned departments.
Meanwhile, a police-public meet was also held at Matrigam in North Kashmir’s Bandipora District. The meet was presided over by the Officiating Superintendent of Police Shamsher Hussain.SP urged the elders to help in bridging the gap between the police and public. He said the prime objective of the police was to ensure enforcement of law and to safeguard the lives and property of public.
