Just sacrifices
Syed Ali Shah Geelani statement that the current agitation has been a success is just like being a judge in one's own case.Whether the agitation has been a success or a failure is for the people to decide. But one thing is beyond doubt that the people of Kashmir have shown a great patience.Let Geelani Sahib understand that even if the current agitation is not a success, even then the the Kashmir dispute needs a permanent resolution. This agitation is the outcome of the sacrifices offered by the common people and not the outcome of the Hartal calenders. There have been agitations in the past right from 1947 and many leaders have spearheaded them but every time it was the common people who mattered the most and it the common people that our leaders have to keep in view. Also our current leaders need to introspect, that to what extent the world community is going to stand by us and to what extent Pakistan can compel India to resolve this dispute.
