HDFC Bank opens 16th ATM in Valley

Srinagar, Nov 24: HDFC Bank, one of India’s premier banks, today inaugurated an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) at Rajbagh, a city pocket here, taking its total teller strength to 16 in the Valley and 23 in J&K.
 Muzaffar Jan, Managing Director, Modern Hospital inaugurated the ATM at Rajbagh. Zubair Iqbal, Deputy Vice President and State Head, HDFC Bank was the guest of honour.
 Iqbal said: With the introduction of "Faster ATMs" an HDFC Bank customer can at any time of the day do cash withdrawal at any HDFC Bank ATM in 40 per cent less time.
 “The time thus saved is utilized for logical cross sell and targeted marketing to the customers,” he said.
 “The customers can also do other transactions on the ATM like credit card payment, cheque status enquiry, transfer funds between accounts, viewing account balances and mini statements,” he said.  
 Iqbal said, "We are extremely pleased to announce the launch of our new ATM at such a strategic and vibrant location in Srinagar and we look forward to providing our customers with the latest products and world class services and the utmost in advanced technology.”
 “For our customer convenience we will be adding 8 news ATMs in next 2 weeks in the Valley," he assured.
