New uniform

 This refers to the news ‘JK mulls new uniform for school students’. Introducing new uniform with tie will definitely make our poor students in government schools look better and even happier. But this better look will not last long because once they reach school; they may have to do the sanitation work themselves. It is an evident fact that children in government schools themselves look after these jobs due to non availability of peons. So it does not matter whether the students wear old or new uniform or no uniform at all. Deficiency of staff, insufficient matting, lesser number of instructional rooms, 25% less books and above all political interference are some of the serious issues which require more attention to improve overall education in our schools.
