March towards Eidgah today: Geelani
Srinagar, Nov 25: The Chairman of Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Shah Geelani on Thursday reiterated his call to construct a resistance wall at Eidgah on Friday.
“After congregation prayers people should take one brick along with them and march towards Eidgah for construction of memorial for martyrs, who laid down their lives for a cause,” Geelani said in a statement.
He said such memorials should be constructed in every Martyrs graveyard of the Valley. “We will start this from Eidgah,”he said.
He also condemned the detention of Mir Hafizullah and Muhammad Rafiq Ganai under Public Safety Act.
