No change
This refers to the news “Discourse changing in JK: Chidambaram.” I don’t know how the Home Minister of India came to know it during his two-day visit to the state. He visited Baramulla and reviewed the security scenario there. He also met a couple of delegation in north Kashmir. Besides, he visited Leh and Kargil. One fails to point out where the Home Minister felt that the discourse is changing in the Valley. This is a blatant lie. There is no change in the ground situation in Kashmir. People continue to suffer. Youth continue to be harassed. India must come out of delusions and refrain from misleading the world that there is a change in the discourse about Kashmir. Let me remind Mr Chidambaram that the interlcoutors’ visit to Kashmir was only futile. They went off the track and just to save their face, met the people who don’t matter when it comes to the resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
