12 hurt in road mishaps
Srinagar, Nov 29: Twelve persons were injured in road accidents across the Valley.
A load carrier (JKE-7331) collided with a wall of the house of Muhammad Ashraf Masoodi of Bungund Khag Kunzer, Baramulla injuring Atteqa Begum wife of Nazir Ahmad Shah of Gungund Baramulla, police said adding the wounded had been hospitalized.
A Sumo (JK01F-9927) collided with a car (JK01A-4892) at Ranji Pattan, Baramulla injuring the drivers of vehicles and some passengers, police said.
A car (JK01-1511) hit a motorcycle (JK09-1822) near Kawari Bridge Kupwara injuring the rider and the pillion rider.
A Sumo hit and injured a woman Zaina Bano wife of Juma Awan of Bidder Kokernag at Kokernag, (Islamabad) Anantnag.
A car (JK03A-9023) hit and injured Prince Ahmad Sheikh son of Muhammad Hassan of Wangam Kokernag at Dandipora, (Islamabad) Anantnag, police said.
An unidentified motorcycle hit and injured three women Nabiza Begum, 60, wife of Abdul Gani, Fahmeeda, 48, wife of Ghulam Hassan Bhat of Fatehpora (Islamabad) Anantnag and Hafeeza, 50, wife of Ghulam Muhammad Mir of Achabal (Islamabad) Anantnag at Bus Stand (Islamabad) Anantnag.Police has registered a case.
A Tipper (JK02A-7379) turned turtle at Nagbal Ladhoo Khrew, Pampore injuring the driver Shakeel Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Hassan of Ladhoo Pampore and Reyaz Ahmad Khan son-in-law of Doda Khan of Nagbal Ladhoo Pampore.
