PCR organizes rehabilitation camp

Srinagar, Nov 29: The Police Control Room (PCR) Srinagar on Monday organised a Drug De-Addiction, Awareness and Treatment Camp at Dalgate on the Dal lake banks.
 A police handout said: “The team of the doctors from Police De-Addiction Centre, Police Hospital Srinagar and the doctors from Health department also participated in this mission.”
 “123 patients were treated. Of them 51 were smokers and drug-addict cases,” it added.
 Free medicines were given to the patients on the spot.
 “The local population appreciated the action of police and requested that more camps should be organised for awareness and treatment of Drug-addicts in future.”
